This is my blog about sports and technology news. Pretty simple, eh? I love them both, and I like spurting off about them, so maybe someone will listen. I read all my comments and check out my follower's blogs frequently.

Google Falling!
The might Google has lost ground in the king of search engines race. According to comScore, the giant fell to 65.4% of the market for February, down from 65.6% in January. Bing moved from 13.1% to 13.6%, and Yahoo went unchanged, staying at 16.1%. The point I wanted to bring up here is I'm surprised at Bing. I thought it would have passed Yahoo by now. I think it is much cleaner and easier to use, as well as giving better results than the once king of searching. I guess I'm just really surprised that people still use Yahoo. So, which search engine do you use? Vote in the poll to the right, or you can leave a comment below.

ReplyDeletei think its just because bing has become the main search engine for some browsers like IE. But for the most part I have never had a problem with google I love their services and have used chrome religiously.
ReplyDeleteits always good with competition with in those big companies, since they have to constantly improve to have the benefit.

i think this is probably the result of censorship within search results they should think before doing things.seriously if you type in utorrent in google the instant researh just dissapear and that just the start...
ReplyDeleteGoogle for sure. Main reason is the clutter-free homepage, very fast load times, and they got the biggest database out of all of em, so it's more thorough.

ReplyDeleteInteresting. I use chrome quite often, but firefox mostly.
ReplyDeleteI once read an article about why Yahoo died. The developer who wrote it had his ideas rejected by Yahoo and promptly went to Google and they used them.
