Apple's WWDC is June 6th...no new iPhone?

Apple has scheduled their WWDC for June 6th this year, and the rumor is that there is not going to be an announcement about the next generation iPhone.  The 3G, 3Gs, and iPhone 4 have all been announced at Apple's developer conference.  Does this mean a delay in the arrival of the 5th iteration of the wildly popular phone? Who knows, but I for one hope not.

  3. I'm sure they'll release a new one. People love to buy new phones, which is a complete waste if you ask me. The tech specs may be interesting, but I believe they deliberately withhold technology to increase profits. Like releasing a new Ipad that's less powerful than a tablet from 2003, for example.
